Participating In Mission & 3rd Sunday In Lent, March 24th, 2019

It's so awesome to be part of a church that actively participates in mission, right here at home, across the country, and around the globe!
*This coming Monday, March 25th, SWUMC will be hosting the Breaking Bread Free Community Meal @ United Church in Walpole.

A few more volunteers are still needed - so contact Danielle Nathan or sign up in the Community Hall this Sunday morning!

*Then, on Sunday, March 31st, we will be taking our annual offering for UMCOR (United Methodist Committee on Relief).

UMCOR does amazing work around the world helping those in need - for more information on UMCOR please go to

*In addition, a week ago Sunday we raised $400 from the Pancake Breakfast for the Mission Team that will be heading out on their summer trip to Maine once again this year.   Thanks so much for all who came and supported and enjoyed the delicious breakfast, gathered around the tables in friendship and love!

Whether it's in Walpole, or Maine, or the other side of the globe, we are glad to be a people who are on mission with God to love and care for all!

Finally, coming up...THIS Sunday, March 24th, Men's Club will be having their monthly breakfast at 8 AM in the Community Hall.  And as always, all are welcome, not just the "men"!
