Rev. Rick McKinley Director of Congregational Development, New England Conference, United Methodist Church
Up and Out: The Importance of Posture Reverend McKinley will kick off our series by posing a question for us to reflect on during the next 12 weeks. He will ask us to consider how we as Christians are connecting with our neighbors through the mission and spirit of God.
Sunday, September 15
Rev. Rene Perez District Superintendent, Central Massachusetts District New England Conference, United Methodist Church
The Spirit of Fearlessness Reverend Perez will challenge us to be courageous and bold in our faith and to trust always in God's promises to us.
Give Them Something to Eat! God is the source of all miracles in this world….but the resources for these miracles typically come from us humans. God is not interested in lengthy explanations concerning what we cannot do, but desires instead that we offer whatever we have. Then, and only then, does the miracle occurs! Will you be open to the miraculous this fall?
Passing Faith Onto Our Children "I am deeply passionate about youth ministry and am convinced that the ongoing health of the church depends upon inspiring the next generation of Christians to continue to answer the call of Christ to incarnate the good news of the gospel in and for the world."

Rev. Dr. Jim Mentzer President, United Methodist Foundation of New England
Whom Will You Serve? Rev. Mentzer says, "This fall, South Walpole UMC has been engaging a very simple question: “What is God calling me/us to do in 2014 to support financially the Kingdom work happening here at South Walpole United Methodist Church?” This challenge is not really that different that the one posed by Joshua to the leaders of the 12 Tribes centuries ago: “Choose this day who you will serve…” As you decide today how to answer this question, my prayer is that you will choose to serve God."
